Archangel Gabriel Catholic School offers a Preschool choice that is second to none and we look forward to sharing in the education of your child.  Our classes are taught by state-certified teachers with degrees in Early Childhood Education.  Each classroom has an aid in addition to the teacher and the ratio is 10:1.

Pre 3 - 3-year-old full-day preschool(2 days) Tuesday and Thursday
Pre 4 -4-year-old full-day preschool- (3 days): Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Pre K - 4-year-old full-day (5 days) 

Note that the birthday cut off for our program is September 1st!

No bussing is provided for preschool - school districts begin bussing in Kindergarten.
There is no aftercare program available for our preschool students at this time.

At Archangel  Gabriel  Preschool your child will:

• Full-Day Preschool: 3 year-old 2-Day, 4 year-old 3-Day, and 4 year-old 5-Day Pre-K Program Opportunities.

• Faith Formation: Students have the opportunity to learn about God through daily prayer, weekly religious lessons, service projects, and student mentorship programs.

• Community and Family: Even in preschool, students and families at Archangel Gabriel Catholic School are a part of the AGS community and have the opportunity to participate in community special events and can even participate in some extracurricular activities, such as the pre-pep squad.

• Volunteer Opportunities: Through our schools’ various activities, fundraisers, committees, PTG and Athletics groups, and even as special classroom guests, there are many volunteer opportunities and ways to get involved.

• Interaction with Other Students: In addition to their own individual classes, our 3-Day and 5-Day preschool students have the opportunity to interact with students from other grades at AGS through our Prayer Partners and Buddy Programs.

• Participation in Specials including gym, art, music, and special guests, At AGS, our 5-Day Pre-K program rotates through specials weekly with our AGS specials teachers - specials include Spanish, Art, Music, Computers, and Gym.

• Strong Community - We invite special guests from the community including the library, fire department, dentist, special readers, and more to help our students learn and grow. We also pride ourselves on our strong family community.

Preschool at AGS features kindergarten readiness skills which include letters and pre-reading skills, numbers and math skills, gross motor skills, learning through music, art and play. Curriculum includes:

• Sadlier Discovering God’s World Religion Series
• Let’s Begin with the Letter People” series for language and literacy skills (4-year old programs)
• Heggerty Phonemic Awareness Curriculum (4-year old programs)
• Lessons on numbers, letters, shapes and colors

The New Student Application fee is a one-time fee and is paid on a per-student basis for a specific SRCES Campus.

Enrollment fees are paid annually and are non-refundable. Fees must be paid in full at the time of application submission and enrollment.

Priority of acceptance into SRCES is a privilege granted to children of active and supportive members of SRCES and is based on the following:

• Currently enrolled students

• Accept brothers/sisters of students currently enrolled at SRCES.

• Accept brothers/sisters of students formerly enrolled at SRCES whose parents are registered members of a Parish.

• Accept baptized Catholic students.

• Accept students who are not Catholic or are from another faith denomination.
