Food Collection for Advent
The 3 year-old 2-day and 4-year old 3-day preschool classes will be collecting non-perishable food items as a service project.  The food items will be going to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.  Food items are due by December 11th. 

AGS Student Council: Treasures for Children Toy Drive 2023
AGS Student Council is collecting new, unwrapped toys from December 1st -December 13th for the Salvation Army's Treasures for Children program.  The Salvation Army will distribute these toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community which the campaign is conducted. The primary goal of the program is to share the love of Christ through service to others.  Toys can be dropped off at the car-rider door.

Orders can still be placed up until December 15th online for delivery home for a flat rate of $5. You will still earn 25% towards your family fundraising goal. Online orders must be paid with a credit card. Our school code is 10-05812.

Purchase Your Child's Classroom Dress Down Days
Most of the dress down days have sold, but there are still classroom dress down days available for purchase from the AGS Auction.  The following classrooms still need a $50 donation to dress down on the following dates:

Still needed for December 11th: 2A, 2B, 3B, 5A, 8B
Still needed for January 10th: 2B, 3B, 5A, 5B, 8B
Still needed for February 9th: KA, 2A, 2B, 3B, 5A, 5B
Still needed for March 22nd: KA, KB, 2A, 2B, 3B, 5B, 7A, 8B

Several families can come together and share the auction donation for a classroom to dress down! Please contact [email protected] if you can contribute towards a dress down day.

Car Raffle Fundraising Credit
We experienced an issue when entering the car raffle fundraiser into Goal Tracker and are working hard to make all corrections to your family accounts. We plan to have this completed by Christmas. If at the end of quarter 2 you are still noticing issues with the credit your family has received, please email Car Raffle Chair Mrs. Staudenmeier at [email protected].

Lunch/Recess Volunteers Needed
We are in need of lunch/recess volunteers.  If you have your clearances and can help from 11:00am to 12:45pm, please contact Mrs. Boburka at [email protected].  If we do not have any volunteers, the students will remain inside the cafeteria.
